In the midst of the Lockdown, whilst realising that everything he usually does is a collaboration with a group of people standing in the same room, Phil came across a Lou Reed interview where Lou talked about writ\u00ading the song Vicious and about how it was an as\u00adsign\u00adment from Andy Warhol. Andy gave Lou the ti\u00adtle and the first line and, ac\u00adcord\u00ading to Lou, the rest was easy be\u00adcause it be\u00adcame about fin\u00adish\u00ading an as\u00adsign\u00adment. The first dif\u00adfi\u00adcult step had been done by some\u00adone else. Phil then wrote to some fellow artist colleagues around the planet and asked them for an assignment – the ti\u00adtle and first line of a song – Maybe there’s a song they’d like to hear that no-one’s writ\u00adten yet?<\/p>\n

\nRen\u00e9e van Trier<\/strong> – a musician, performer and painter from Tilburg, Netherlands<\/p>\n
